No one cares if you’re asexual. Really, no one cares. No one ever said you had to be, and no one cares that you don’t have sex. The Internet doesn’t care either, but you’ll be made fun of anonymously (and that really shouldn’t bother you). Society is not going to make others view you differently, or treat you to special rights. In fact, you have the same rights and privileges today that you had yesterday.

Have this conversation with your partners, if you ever have one. They are the only person who will care. If you get dumped as a result, that’s on you… society did nothing hateful to you, and owes no obligation to apologize either.
