You guys and your beautiful Ambassadeurs making me want to get one again! I owned two very entry level ones (ones you could buy at Wal-Mart) when I was a young teenager over 15 years ago and I was pretty good at using them, great catfish reels. I stopped fishing for over 10 years and got back into it just last year with new spinning gear because I wanted something easy to deal with, but I keep finding myself browsing Abu's site and just staring at the round reels. Hard decision to make as I only own spinning gear now so that would mean getting a new reel and a new rod that would basically be used for the same things I already have in one of my spinning setups and I already have plans for getting a light or ultra-light spinning setup that I would probably use more often. Eh, maybe next year.
