S4 E11 insane ending

Yeah, it was brilliant. I stand back from experiencing this show with enormous respect for the creators, but especially for Cranston. They say that stage and film - when it's done right - is supposed to be a transcending experience. Very rarely is that true. But with Cranston, I can honestly say that I was rivited by his performance.

Someone recently commented on the scene between Walt and Gretchen in the restaurant(S02 E06) and it cements my point. When you watch that scene, you can see a real vulnerability in Walt, the subtle way he uses the physical side of acting; the uncertainty in his eyes, how he clenches his jar and waddles his head ever so slightly. You can feel what he's not saying, until she crosses the line. Then he's suddenly Heisenburg, someone else entirely. By any yardstick, it's absolutely brilliant.

I envy you your first journey though this incredible series, OP. Enjoy it. You're not likely to see anything better.
