This is the best episode of the season so far, and it was an awesome episode overall. Snatch Game was really strong, with the exception of the bottom 3 all the other queens made me laugh.
Alexys had me hysterically laughing at the screen, she truly deserved the win. I was SO worried for Sasha after that little preview but she killed it, (so no, she won't be "Max-ed" or "Acid Betty-ed") and even tho I knew Alexys would win I was secretly rooting for her (refer to flair). Nina was fucking awesome, I like her impersonation of Jasmine better than the real Jasmine, I’m happy she’s got her confidence back and I’m expecting it to be talked about in Untucked. I was afraid Ru was gonna make another double win when he called about both Alexys and Sasha at the same time, and I’m glad she didn’t cause this double win stuff is bullshit.
The safe queens all had their funny moments for me, Valentina is the one that stood out the most because her take on the character was really creative. Both Shea and Trinity also had be cackling. Aja girl, I mean yeah your one line in the whole challenge was funny but besides doing another queen you did one that had already been done, and that outfit didn’t even make sense, I wanted to slap her.
Peppermint is obviously horrible at anything that involves 1) being funny or 2) acting. She has been such a disappointment for someone who’s known as a legend… It’s also time for Farrah is like, there. She’s doing anything to be remembered for, but when she called out Nina I wanted to kiss that little twink mouth because SOMEONE had to say it. Ok so Santy (sp?), I don’t wanna drag her any more because at this point it seems like bullying, but damn that’s one of the worst runs I’ve ever seen, at least this time she had a good costume. I’m happy she’s gone.
Most of the runway looks were great as well, Sasha and Alexys made md gag sooooo hard. I don't know how I feel about Valentina's look, it was clever and a risk but at the same time it was just really simple? Farrah’s had a lot of details but I didn’t like it whatsoever. Aja’s lucky to be safe cause she would’ve been read to the ground, that looked cheap af. I also didn’t like Shea’s and Peppermint’s, idk why. If I could have on complaint: why didn’t anybody do the Vogue look from MTV awards from 1990? I don’t like Madonna but even I know about this performance, and that look? Yea gawd.
I was not expecting for Peppermint to go camp with the lip sync, but I enjoyed it (I don’t thinks it’s as great as people are saying it is tho). The only question I have left is what the fuck does Cynthia do? She can’t act, can’t dance, can’t do comedy, can’t serve looks and CLEARLY can’t lip sync… But oh well, at least her little fall in the runway was cute.
I don’t frequent this sub that much but damn, today’s episode got me really excite and I wrote all this shit lol. Hoping for even better episodes in the next weeks.
