Safety concerns

RIGHT! That fucker is a nightmare! It's hard sometimes to not be filled with deep regret and almost mourn the life I could have had. How many of my mental behaviours and patterns wouldn't be there if it had been caught early!

My life would have been so much different now if it had been properly dealt with rather than ignored or dismissed. And yes, that overthinking, jeez, that overthinking is an absolute killer! Thankfully, that's reduced significantly for me since starting meds for it, I feel like a whole new person and I feel like I can live my life now.

I'm really glad for you that you are able to discover those answers now and that you are able to understand the why behind many of your concerns, stressors, etc. It's great to be able to understand the reason behind it, and then to know what to aim for in order to avoid it just becoming an excuse used to justify not doing anything to try and change it. I'm super proud of you for advocating for yourself through it, and I wish you all the luck for the future with it all too.
