I am not making exceptions. As said above, illustrated on the Nazi example, Christianity was a cultural factor, not the determining factor that led to Nazi crimes. Removing Islam from the equation does diminish violence, as removing tenets of Nazi ideology from the equation, not Christianity, would remove the violence of Nazi regime.

Other examples: "poverty leads to terrorism" - why do poor Muslims but not poor gypsies become terrorists? "lack of education leads to terrorism" - why do illiterate people in remote villages of Vietnam not become terrorists?

I don't want to turn this into an endless discussion as these reddit threads sometimes happen to become, but generally, fears are not irrational. One does not just become afraid without any reason, but the word Islamophobia implies that people just randomly become disproportionately more afraid of Muslims than other religions and political ideologies.

You are at the exact same risk of terrorism with or without Muslims

So if Muslim terrorists disappear, some other people will automatically take their place because there is some "terrorism quota" that will be filled regardless of circumstances, and this time it just happened to be filled almost exclusively with Muslim terrorism?
