SCREW YOU PETERSON!

I think what /u/petersonmfg is missing here... is that they are the most expensive picks on the market, for really no reason. For $10 a pick (that's really nothing special, all they offer is thinner material), if it breaks due to a manufacturing issue (such as right across the etching), an industry standard warranty of a 100% free replacement is expected. If mass produced correctly, the metal tips should cost (at most) a dollar a piece to make, and the 3D printed handles the same.. $10/pick for something that should cost (rounding up here) $3 to make..

A company who makes overpriced tools, faulty, and charges money for replacements.. that's just insulting, and a very good way to lose business.

Got to keep in mind that the higher-end pickers inadvertently advertise products through their videos. If they start using other brand tools, the up-and-coming pickers will follow suit.

There have been several people complain about the (lack of) customer service which is really a shame, and that stuff gets around, quick. I personally am still waiting for a response to an email/question from 8+ months ago.
