Secular Islam

I didn't write that.

You did actually:

"I don't think the Islamic world needs a leader whose going to implement strict fiqh,"

Fascinating, being strict with truth out the window, what does this leader have?

"rather, it needs someone whose capable of patroning a renaissance i.e be a man of fine arts, philosophy, literature, religious dialouge, fair economic and social policies. An enlightened, benevolent ruler is what the Islamic world lacks."

Literally none of your characteristics of the future leader was 'be firmly knowledgeably in Islam and capable of helping to guide the Ummah closer to God.' your view was purely secular. You don't care who this leader is as long as they're your average Renaissance man with a Muslim twist.

Opinions differ on this.

They actually don't. You can't follow fringe opinions just because a scholar says it. There's also a difference if the sun goes around the earth or the earth goes around the sun.

Is that Islamic and effective?

It's also harsh and a violation of human rights to detain someone based on them switching their religion. Just hope you understand that your ideas are only going to piss off a lot of kuffar and make you very unpopular in the world with perhaps the only friend being China.

Damn yes it is.

Muslims don't swear

Does the Islamic world need another Khomeini and make the world hate us than already are, or do we need a Ottoman Suleiman I and make us both feared and advanced?

We need someone on prophetic manhaj. I don't know what part of the hadith you keep missing. The prophet, peace be upon him, set up no academies, or art schools, or places for philosophers to think, because it wasn't important, the prophet couldn't care about any of that. Know how many times 'value art' is in the Qur'an? All of that stuff is extra. It doesn't mean it can't be set up, but trying to make this important isn't just ridiculous, it's bidah.

You're just not grasping my vision and I don't expect you to either.

No I get your vision, it's if Qatar suddenly usurped the Muslim world. Unfortunately that's destined to not only fail, but not even happen as to the hadith of the future of the Ummah.

Art is worthless, sorry, but all materialism is worthless and hence art is too. I know you're trying to make a really cool thing that will make the kuffar jealous but trust me, that's not possible because you're going to anger them off more than anything. The ummah needs to improve it's deen first, then it can worry about other stuff.
