We shot disarmed rockets over it to test it and find weak spots. Is that technically financial help? Sure. Was it is throwing millions or billions of dollars at something to create and support it? Nope. Those disarmed rockets would've been fired off for one reason or another anyways. Ratheon created it on their own accord. Not by order of the United States government or military. Ratheon is still a private entity and can work with anyone we don't have an embargo with.

Israel came up with the idea and the first 3 iterations of it after realizing how stupid expensive it is to run a single C-RAM let alone the 200+ they would need. Especially since the C-RAMs we gave them were 2 generations old. Ratheon stepped in to help them finalize the iron curtain and we threw test rockets at it.

I didn't start out the conversation as an asshole. I just took it there when dude didn't know when to shut up.
