I have a similar story. With a way different outcome. She was aussie 18 i was american 20. We met talking about a rather kinky book in a yahoo chat room. Ended up talking on the phone and lots of phone sex. Became addicted to talking to her buying a shit ton of phone cards and lost most of my friends because my whole day other then work revolved around her. She was going to college, but we would talk 6-10 hours a day and looking back on it , rather sad.
Anyways fast forward about 2 years i came up with the money to meet her. She sounded excited said she loved me so forth and so on. I called her the day i was leaving told her, she was again happy. When i finally arrived 16 hours later i call her again.
"Hey guess where i am at?"
Aussie chick (umm i dont know home)
me - No i am at this 7-11 close to your apartment, told you i was coming.
aussie chick - starts freaking out in her voice - ( well go to your hotel and call me later)
Me - umm i thought i would be staying with you
aussie chick - really annoyed- I will be there in a min.
Aussie chick - walks up dressed nicely-
Aussie chick - (akward one arm hug) follow me -
Me - carrying a heavy ass bag and jet lagged from all hell walks behind her for about a mile. i set the bag down and sit on the couch rather tired and sweaty.
Aussie chick sets on a couch away from me and starts crying.
Me - whats wrong
Aussie chick - i cant do this, i have a bf and didnt really think you would come
Me- how in the hell did you have time for a bf we talked 6-10 hours a day plus you going to college
aussie chick - i cant deal with this right now - i have to go you can sleep here for tonight
aussie chick - leaves
me- i take a shower go to sleep on her couch exhausted
aussie chick - comes back 4 hours later
we sit beside each other she makes us hot chocolate and i attempt to rub her back - she seems uncomfortable. Leaves and goes to her bedroom. 4 hours later she comes down tells me i can come upstairs. I go upstairs lay in her bed and attempt to rub her belly, she freaks and says no. We go to sleep, wake up to knock on the door. She goes down answers it shoos the person away and runs back upstairs and tells me (look i dont care where you go but it isnt here, that was my roommate she just got back from the phillipines a day early you have to leave now.) This was and is the coldest anybody has ever treated me. The look in her eyes and lack of emotion.
I call my uncle he puts his credit card down on a hostel and they come pick me up. where i stay for the next week. She agrees to meet me once more at a starbucks days later and about mid way though freaks out and literally runs out of the star bucks and hops on a trolley.
I go back home after a few other adventures and she then starts calling my house. She wants money for the phone bill when i called my uncle and mom. I find out i wasnt the only guy she did this to. I was just the one stupid enough to go there. The whole thing perplexes me because we talked so fucking much, i really dont know how she had time for anything else.
About 2 weeks later a friend of mine and I hook up and she starts calling the house every day. And continued for months on in till my now wife told her to fuck off.
She liked me on the phone and the fake ideal of it all but not the reality and yes i showed her pics before i went there.
