I grew up in a toxic household with a Narcissist (Mother), her Enabler (Stepfather) and my two younger brothers. They were considered 'golden children' while I was supposed to be my brothers' keeper and nothing special. This led to a number of situations where lives were in danger on all sides. I'll list the ones involving me

The first major incident was in grade school where I snapped after another kid talked shit during the school's physical fitness event. I wrapped my arm around the other kid's neck and choked him until he was blue, it took three teachers and a number of students to separate us. Ten years later I found out through the grapevine that he has permanent breathing issues now and joined the army to make up for how shitty he was as a kid.

The second, and probably closest, incident was in my early teens. My youngest brother was around eleven at the time and I had just turned fifteen. My youngest brother loves to run his mouth and was basically born an asshole, hasn't changed one bit. On this particular day I had just been diagnosed with a chronic illness that raised my chances for certain cancers by as much as %30 and I was not handling it very well. He decides to run his mouth like he does every day but I really wasn't having it that day. I picked my youngest brother up by his neck and was trying to choke him out while yelling at him about how big a piece of shit he is. Our middle brother heard the sounds the youngest made while I was genuinely choking him, I mean both thumbs on his adam's apple choking, and our middle brother punched me in the side of the head hard enough to make me drop our youngest brother.
