Shannon is so uneducated for being educated

I would love to talk about race in seemingly progressive cities (which by the way, is about much more than race, related socioeconomic factors also play a huge role). But that doesn’t take away from the fact that the south is still bone chillingly racist, in and out of cities. I’ve lived in both the south and the north and there is a stark and obvious difference in the way people think and speak about minorities between the regions. I’m not really sure why you’re trying to argue with me about this when we essentially agree. You tried to twist my comment to make me seem like I don’t like Black people when my comment thread pretty obviously shows my disdain for privileged white (and most likely racist) people, and specifically, an historically racist and misogynist university, which, yes, is in the south.
