The Season 6 Takedown of Lisa Vanderpump.

When I watch that scene, I don't see what LVP did wrong exactly. Possibly she prodded Camille to bring it up behind the scenes, but she definitely backed up Camille in the moment. She echoed everything Camille said as she was saying it. So I don't get why, in that deleted scene, Camille accuses her of leaving her hanging. And Camille didn't have to go as far as she did either. They were clearly both very emotionally confused about Taylor reporting abuse and then later claiming everything was OK. What I see is two women at their wit's end. I think that the dropping of the "truth bomb" was authentic emotion, not calculation.

DV is a minefield and I'm not blaming Taylor for her inconsistencies. But for people who don't know a lot about DV, that inconsistency can cause much turmoil when you are so worried about someone's safety. It leaves you in a position of not knowing what to do. What Camille and LVP did, by bringing it up on camera, was potentially endangering to Taylor, but they didn't know that. They aren't DV experts. It's was a lose lose situation for all of them. Say something and blow up Taylor's life. Say nothing and become a passive spectator to watching someone diminish into a shell of a person (as was happening)

In that scene, Taylor seemed the most focused on making LVP see that Taylor felt lesser than around Lisa. Lisa listened to her and tried to make her feel better. AFAIK, they are still friendly. I don't think Lisa continued the same behaviour with Taylor after that.

I think LVP can probably be quite a bitchy, passive aggressive person, especially when she feels insulted. But I don't get the master manipulator narrative. I think it's just something Kyle and others created because they just don't like her. She became a convenient scapegoat for doing exactly what they all do. I mean, watch Kyle. She is ALWAYS insinuating little things and prodding other cast members to pick up the hot potato topics.
