Sharing my personal experiences as a typical 30-yo middle class

I agree about the "gate keeping" issue. Just to share, my manager hired me just because I graduated from one of the top schools and the fact that I am taking Juris Doctor at the same school. She told me that looking at my resume, she already know that I will be a great addition to the company. The thing is, my work experience is nothing compared to other applicants. I am still grateful though because I got series of promotions so my salary went from $450 to $3,000 per month.

I am well aware that I'm a privileged person that is why when my employer gave me the authority to hire new employees, I choose those who you call as "non-priority". I value character over skills because skills can be taught, not so much with character.
