I’m probably guilty of that, but I also have good reason to be. I worked in a county as a police officer, we had 10 officers to patrol an area that covered 20,000 people 24/7/365. The local welfare office had 50 employees, working m-f 8-4..

I’ve met generations of able bodied people who are on welfare, it’s unbelievable.

These weren’t black people either, before anyone calls me a racist - it was 99.9% white.

I got called to the welfare office once because an 18 year old showed up trying to fight a worker because his check hadn’t arrived. He NEVER signed up, it was so ingrained in that populace that they got a check that he went to the mailbox on the 1st, right after his birthday and was livid he didn’t get his money.

I met another mid 20s guy we arrested constantly for dui, drugs and burglary. He wanted to report his mother stole his welfare check. I asked him why he needed a welfare check if he climbed through windows and stole shit all day. He said “I can’t read” so apparently not being able to read means you can’t lift a shovel.

50% of this country is on welfare, over 100 million people. It’s the biggest scam ever perpetrated against the taxpayers.
