So someone decided to have a wedding in LA on Valentine's Day....

I also want to know what universe you live in where couples are never affectionate or romantic with each other, particularly when they're afraid their loved one's life might be in danger.

You are correct with this yes. However, it feels added at a rate far too frequently.

If you think it's "dumb storytelling" then fair enough, criticize the actual storytelling elements of it.

Fair point of which I attempted to prove my reasons.

But when you throw around stupid fox news buzz words like "SJW" and "PC" just because they happen to be two women, it makes you look like you have a chip on your shoulder about LGBT people being allowed to exist in media.

I said it due to the frequency of how much it's brought up and why I think it's "dumb storystelling" and adds nothing to the plot.

There's nothing wrong with making your cast diverse. If you made, say, Marjory a man and changed nothing else, I guarantee you wouldn't see nearly as much criticism.

You are correct, you wouldn't. I also find nothing wrong with making your cast diverse, it's better than everyone being Clone#1 and Clone#2 after all.

It's almost as if people who AREN'T YOU exist and that games might sometimes want to appeal to people who AREN'T YOU! Who woulda thought.

As someone who plays games virtually everyday and has been playing since like 6 I'm fully aware of this. A wide variety of games exist appealing to various people of different backgrounds and with differing plots, many I find no interest in and others I do. More range is always good.

Nonetheless it has nothing to do with two people in the game having an RP wedding.

Indeed, expanded upon at bottom.

I pointed out that GW2 has lesbian main characters in response to someone who plays GW2 being homophobic.

I assume this was the first comment to which I didn't see, apologies. This is also partly why I brought up Kasmeer/Marjory.

I don't know why you felt the need to start a debate about the characters while at the same time complaining about the "bickering"

I wasn't. I was attempting to make the point that others have differing views of X and can be free to state their views. I didn't see their first comment and I understand I have more weight against myself for bringing myself into this. However, I stand by the fact that this is pointlessly done for the sake of arguing with one another with no real reason for it to which I attempted to stop, while clearly failed and only made you more angry as a result.
