Imma keep it real, I think this change is stupid. As much as I love princess and the frog, along with splash mountain, this just seems to be an attempt for Disney to market off the protests. I still don’t get how the ride itself is racist, as it really distances itself from the movie song of the south. There is no racist imagery in the ride. My main problem comes from the fact that since Disney is changing this ride, thanks to it referencing something horribly dated, that this could lead to the changing of a bunch of classic disney attractions and everything else. Particularly I could see the removal of Walt Disney, thanks to his less than stellar ideas from long ago.
