How highly do you rate Iron Rattler?

Check my flair.

I do agree with the argument that says it's short. It is, relative to other RMCs, pretty short. Also, I agree with the argument that it really only has 3-4 good moments. I think those 3-4 moments are enough to make the whole ride fantastic.

The Drop

This is my favorite/second favorite drop on a coaster (Still deciding between this and X2). Think of it as Viper's drop at SFGAM, but the ejector version. First, you get thrown outta your seat. Then, you get thrown to the side. Then, you get thrown to the other side. I definitely prefer this drop over Goliath's at GAM.

The Quarry Dive

Now, the Quarry dive is pretty much the final element of the ride. It comes after the, subjectively, boring part. While on top of the quarry, you are going pretty slowly. However, you pass over the hill before the dive, which you don't think much of. But that the dive - almost as good as the drop. It's so sudden, and you get absolutely flung out of your seat.

The Barrel Roll

This seems to be another element people are a fan of. I thought it was just okay, nothing really special, at least compared to the two other drops. Still fun though.

Tunnel

I thought the tunnel was fantastic. You head into it with a lot of speed - it is, pretty much, just a turn inside there, but in the pitch black, it's really neat. As soon as you come out of the tunnel, you get a pop of airtime before heading into the brakes.

I thought these four moments set this RMC apart from the others, and they prove that you really can have a good, short coaster. The two drops, in my opinion, overshadow the boring parts in the middle.

The other RMC I've ridden is Twisted Colossus, which was obviously nice, but I didn't duel, and the duration just felt short. Sure, it was advertised as "two rides for one" but to me it felt like "two half rides" since it was short. I should be riding it in December, hopefully I can duel on it.
