A lot of religions were worse than Scientology. What Scientology does is exploit a human instinct, the instinct of being connected or needing a god. The person who created Scientology was a great writer and he knew he could manipulate people with great stories such as those read on the bible or quran.

Scientology in a sense is no different than any other religion due to the fundamentala it is based on. You cannot say Scientology isnt real because you cannot prove it ia wrong, just like you cannot prove Jesus Christ isnt the son of god. or that god exists.

Scientology doesnt differ like other religions in the fact that there are higher ups or the chosen ones... the ones that hear voices in their heads claiming they are God (Abraham/Mohammed) There is structure and people who climb through the social latter simply from religion (pope/priests). These people claim to have connections with god, and maybe they do, but it is strange how many religions have people like this that also claim the same thing.

To me, the only thing that seperates Scientology to leta say... Catholism. Is the fact that Scientology is new. Its in an age where everyone is more skeptical and critical. What if Scientology would have startes back in Egypt or Mesopotamia when people believed a cough was a spirit exiting your body? Almost every religion has its history of horrific bloodshed and forced conversion. Mass murder, genocide, kidnapping, rape... you name it, it has been done in the name of mkst religions.

The only reason Scientology hasnt been able to do this is because it doesnt have much of a history... it wasn't creates in those times were people were more sheep minded. Now we have information at a dime and we can find out about Priests raping children, about ISIS beheading women, about Scientology kidnapping people.

Tell me... what is the difference?
