You "know" why I don't take the train from Atlanta to New Orleans and Just drive or take a flight? You can take a train there now. Look it up I'm sure you "know". And then find the answer why it is like that. Honestly take sometime to do some critical thinking and get past what you want, what you think should just magically happen because you like it. Another thing you probably don't "know" is how roads are paid for, look it up. How are you going to pay for rail, and will it replace roads completely. Look up how much China's rail system cost to run. I've also rode that myself from Shanghai to Beijing, fancy thing I'll tell you. Try to find the subway system that is cheap and profitable, and then answer why. Has not as much to do with the rail itself. I "know" do you?
