I’m Rebecca dePencier, a freelance journalist and masters student at Carleton University in Canada.

As part of an Election Day publication created by Carleton’s journalism department, I am going to be profiling a Georgia citizen over the next week and a half, and I’m wondering if anyone here would be interested in taking part?

The profile will be published on a blog put together by Carleton and the intention is for them to go live by 5 pm or so on Election Day, November 3rd.

The process for writing the profile would likely involve one or two zoom calls for an interview, as well as being able to call, text or WhatsApp me on Election Day to keep me apprised of what is happening, though not all day, as we’re filing our stories by 4 pm. I would also need to take a photo over zoom for the profile, as well as receive a second photo for the profile.
