Let’s just take this at face value here and say this is what she actually believes.

If that’s the case, it seems like the enemy (pride, envy, fear, fraud, etc etc) is telling Brittney what she wants to hear with all this “you’re doing great” nonsense. The devil is deceptive or something like that.

If I trusted my soul to an omnipresent God, I would have to wonder if the thousands of people (who I willingly share my life and mundane thoughts with) are actually sending God’s true message that I am not acting in a manner that honors his name.

What a mess. Hurt people hurt people, but there’s no excuse to double down time and time again at the expense of others.
