Probably because I actually ended up having at least one human (or in this case, two) respond to this particular inquiry. I've received actual automated responses in the past, and in some cases, they were completely unrelated to what I inquired about (I mentioned in another comment that support "told" me my main account had been BANNED- which as you can imagine, wasn't true at all- let alone the fact nobody actually bothered looking). It doesn't really matter who's signing at the bottom when you're dealing with that kind of stuff- when that kind of service is a thing, this only makes things worse for them.

I guess the customer service has somewhat improved over time, which is certainly a positive note in my book. Maybe people won't be as unlucky anymore. Heck if I would've known.

And yes, as I pretty much showcased here, accounts never actually get deleted. That's just what the game wants me to think, until you come to realize most server-sided games are like that.
