Nina broke free before it could work, if memory serves. Audrey doesn't count because we're only talking about good guys torturing bad guys. Fair enough on Gavin, Ortega and Paul Raines. Fact is, the exceptions prove the rule. Torture worked way more than it didn't. And where it didn't it was generally because the bad guy was "unbreakable", that mysterious superpower imparted by special forces training or fanatical religious devotion.
