Sync updated, now my head unit isn't working correctly.

Yeah that happens when it has a fatal error of some sort. When it starts up did it say "performing update" or some such thing on a black screen with a light blue progress bar and white text? I don't think it's actually performing any updates, that's just the 'cold-boot' startup screen. When you turn your car off, it just goes into standby. It only 'cold-boots' from an update or when it freezes. Sometimes I'll get a text in the middle of doing something else on the screen and it'll stop responding to touch. If I give it a voice command, it'll go black then begin "updating". When it finally boots you can tell it's still loading things as its not very responsive for the next 15-20 seconds or so.

Sorry, I have no idea how to fix the freezes, I think that's just part of the Sync2 lifestyle. People bitch about it a lot, and I can't disagree with any of their criticisms, but coming from a 2007 Civic Si with a rudimentary GPS and the most asstastic voice control I've ever used, it's like I'm in a spaceship. You just have to deal with some crashes and Bluetooth problems here and there, a minor price IMO for the features you get in a car as cheap as the FiST. I just group it in with the harsh ride and some other negatives as a tradeoff.
