RAVE: Astrid Perfumes. I just opened Undine (Waterlily, pear, quince, aloe, cilantro, green cognac, violet leaf, grapefruit, and waterlogged coffin wood) from the sea witch collection and it is magnificent. I have no idea how, but the scent just reminds me of shimmery shallow waters, like a tropical mermaid's lair. I can't tell whether my mind's playing tricks on me because I don't understand how the notes combine to do that, but it is gorgeous. I have many (a zillion) perfumes that I love, but this is totally unique to my collection. Astrid has outdone herself in my opinion. My order (since it was large sigh) also came with Merci 14, which is a gourmand-lover's dream. I'm blown away by the whole package!
