is she talking about herself?

What is much

In a 2018 interview with Forbes, Chamberlain said that although she was raised in the generally well-off city of San Francisco, her family had struggled with finances during her childhood. The family had depended on commissions for her father's art, and when he was ill and unable to paint they endured "hard times".

While I’m not doubting money was tight comparatively to what she was used to, her dad being able to live as an artist off of commissions prior to health issues is not what I would personally consider not coming from much. Emma grew up in a nice area and went on to attend a private catholic high school that as of this year costs $29,980 in tuition for one year. The uniform alone is $200

Relatability is relative so I understand why she was important and comforting to a lot of people when it came to conversations surrounding mental health, beauty standards and body image issues and people just found her refreshing compared to beauty bloggers but by the time she was making YouTube videos I’m not sure how relatable she was financially to the average person
