I just rewatched Reyes/Oezdemir. I thought Reyes clearly won when I watched Saturday but after seeing the reaction on this sub I thought maybe I’d drank too much. But I was sober this time and I still thought Reyes won it clearly. In the first round volkan doesn’t throw much, and he only lands a handful of punches. He gets top position twice but only keeps it for about 10 seconds each time with no gnp. Reyes wins it pretty clearly on volume imo. In the second Reyes controls the first two minutes, landing good straight lefts and leg kicks. Volkan lands a few leg kicks then in the third minute he comes to life, lands some strikes and bloodies Dominic’s nose. Then Dominic lands the better strikes for the last minute and a half or so, but volkan does get a few good licks in. Dom defended 2 takedowns in this round, volkan defended two. There wasn’t any top control.
