There's just no way this tastes EXACTLY like the chipotle sauce. The ingredients show that it's a tomato puree/buttermilk based sauce (obviously with oil) while the chipotle sauce is oil, water, vinegar and egg yolk as the core ingredients. They do share some elements in common as they're both ultimately oil based sauces with egg and vinegar, salt and water and some blend of peppers, but some of the prime spices/seasonings are different, too.. and that tomato puree with buttermilk are substantial flavor builders.

I've had those Hidden Valley Restaurant Inspired sauces. Some of them are good, but it's actually designed to be a burger sauce copycat. Specifically things like In-N-Out, but with a Ranchy twist (buttermilk rather than, say, the lemon juice used for In-N-Out).
