Tatis has 2 more errors and 10 less games than the next guy. With 12 errors in 33 games it’s more than 1 per three games. I know SS is a tough position but common. Also, TIL you can make 2 errors on the same play.

SAME. Every time I throw out stats and figures though, people on here lose their shit.

He has a 61% ground ball rate, 4th worst in baseball. His Launch Angle, which was up to 8.7 last year, is down to 0.5, again 4th worst in baseball. He slowly is seeing fewer and fewer ground balls find holes on the right side of the infield as they adjust their shifts to his current batted ball data.

The overall batted ball data is in line with 2018 and 2019, when he was terrible compared to other first baseman.

I told people his hot start, when he was hitting .350 after 2-3 weeks wouldn't last. Over 162 games, anyone with a ground ball rate that high with poor speed cannot hit .300. We're getting 2018/2019 Hosmer but nobody wants to believe it.

When he ends the season at .260, I won't be happy to say to those fans "I told you so" b/c we're wasting $21 million on this guy and he's also regressed defensively. Praying we can convince KC to take him back out of nostalgia and the narrative that he's some amazing clubhouse guy. Plenty of teams have won a lot of games with total assholes. Ex: Barry Bonds, A-Rod, Kevin Brown, John Lackey, Josh Beckett, Rafiel Palmer, Aroldis Chapman, and on and on and on.
