Having a tough time deciding on pitching today. As it stands, these are the categories in my matchup (the bolded being my score, unbolded my opponent)
W: 3 - 4
K: 53 - 69
ERA: 3.30 - 2.90
WHIP: 0.95 - 1.01
My starters today are Paxton @ LAA and Shark @ Pit
His starters today are Scherzer @ Stl and Clevinger @ Det
We both have ~50IP at the moment, and it looks as though he intends to start both of them. Knowing these starts and the current category scores, am I best to just put both my starters in? I think if I bench everyone there is a decent possibility of Scherzer posting a sub-1.00 WHIP and stealing the category from me. I like who my pitchers are starting against today and think if I put them both in I have a decent chance at tying wins or taking ERA if one of his pitchers has a rough outing. I like Shark for keeping my WHIP down as well.
Also I've already won saves even if he gets the maximum today, worth keeping my RPs in? (Wilson, Miller, Brach, Rodney, Bedrosian).
Can anyone confirm my decision to start them both? Opinions? Thanks!
