HAHA! The u.s invented the festival scene? My man The Netherlands was always first when it comes to especially the harder styles, and festivals. I mean the early 2000's Sensation Black/White, Extrema, Inqontrol. And suddenly EDM was born overseas. Techno and all other harder styles don't have nothing to do with elitism, at least not in The Netherlands, Germany or Belgium. We just like to throw good festivals with good music and lovely people. The scene in the u.s is pretty decent maybe but if you experienced Awakenings, Dekmantel, DGTL or ADE you know what's up. Of course the festivals are good in the U.S. But we have 17 million people in our country and over 800 festivals in a year. That's rock, techno, jazz, hiphop etc etc etc.
