my four peas (one male, three females) are all quite happy in their densely planted ten gallon. My four have been hardier than people have led me to believe, survived my beginner mistakes (as did the rest of my fish; I originally put them in a community tank which was no bueno), and are round and active and happy aside from the occasional argument.

I just added some kuhli loaches to the tank, and the puffers are… low-key getting bullied by them LOL. They’ll just ram into them and keep on swimming, and the puffers are just like “… what the fuck?? did I just get hit in the face by a piece of spaghetti?” just sitting there stunned, blinking, and considering every decision that led to this point of behind slapped in the face by a dark wet noodle.
