So a year ago I bought a Samsung 2233RZ, its a 22' 1680x1050@120hz TN monitor. I paid only $62 for it, I'm quite sure the guy who was selling it wasn't aware of the real value. Games look so much better 120hz, absolutely love it. Recently I bought a GTX 1070 and I was thinking about upgrading to a 2560x1440@144 G-Sync, but oh boy do these cost alot. Also, what really sucks they are all 27' and I don't wan't a bigger screen, I'm ok with 22', eventualy 24' could be fine. Maybe that's because I have bad vision in one eye so my vertical sharp FOV is smaller. I want a sharper screen, not a bigger screen. Difference in PPI between the two is only 90PPI VS 108PPI, would I even notice the difference? 2560x1440 at 24' would be 122PPI - that sounds alot better, but... doesn't exist.

So there is a guy selling DELL S2716DG for $450. Is extra 18PPI worth $450? Is extra 24hz worth $450? Is G-Sync worth $450?
The only 2560x1440 screen I've seen is in my Galaxy S6 and I've never seen G-sync or Free-sync in action. In every electronics shop I go to, all they have on display are some dank 1080p60hz monitors.
So should I buy it or wait for either 24' 2560x1440@144 or 4k@120+ monitors? Anyone in here who went from 1680x1050@120hz or 1080p@120/144 to 2560x1440@144?
