A theory

A few thoughts... When Krebs did his post, I read Zu's twitter feed for several months. Guy has a certain way of expressing himself which is unique. Certain phrasing, certain confidence and arrogance, almost lofty sense he's inside yet untouchable. Feels like a guy (or possibly more than one on the same feed) who've been at this a long time, with their own lingo, own code, etc.

This kind of guy is insular in his world and yet known to people, sort of like surfers. People know who this is. No one is that brash and public without being 'that guy' inside a group. And 'that guy' has a habit of making enemies out of people deemed not cool enough or in the know enough. Bottom line, he's going to get uncovered. Fast.

Next, that pic of the next dump is something like AM_4_dmp. I don't think it's Established Men or some massive money laundering thing really. That feels like wishful thinking, i.e. something bigger is coming to shift the focus. The IT said they have pics and messages and it seems reasonable that's what next. I get the comment in Vice about dick pics and I get the arguments about size, but just a decision to post thumbnails is just as devastating and yet small, e.g. 65kb per image. I think it's premature and foolish to just write off this possibility.

I think it's already out there as well, per the comments about delayed release, admiration for IT for leaving it to be found for others to seed, etc. I think Zu and IT are sitting around waiting for it to blow wherever it it. But something tells me its fire and forget and they've already fired.

Lastly, I think Thrash was Zu. The tone, idioms, casual arrogance, sense of invulnerability, etc. was all there. There are a couple of very obscure Star Trek references in his insults both under Thrash and in his Twitter feed, stuff like that. I think the whole 100 points thing was not for karma per se, but to fuck with people, make them dance for him. Everything he does is from a place of superiority.

This is ALL just intuition, but like another poster said, my intuition is usually accurate. I might have been on some list of people who looked at a website once, but I'm not otherwise a fucking idiot.

None of this means that Established Men is not just 5.0 or yet another bombshell is coming. I just think the AM users are not quite off the hook yet.

Just some random thoughts, but I've been doing a lot of thinking. YMMV.
