It's a problem. They know this country is becoming culturally as a whole more socially liberal, so those on the right are using political means to try and fight against that wave and weaponizing political structures and institutions (ie the Supreme Court being pretty much a rubber stamp to take away rights despite most of America not supporting what they do) to fight against that, and those on the far right are just doing murderous and terrorist act likes this.

It's not a good time and not a stable time since at some point, the country and people culturally as a whole becoming more socially liberal as a whole is scaring those on the right/far right, and it scares me to think of the means they will go to try and project their power and stem the tide (temporarily but still harmfully temporarily) just to satisfy their lust of power and fight against what most of the country believes or wants.

Disgusting really.
