Why is there so little movement to fix the wealth gap (in America)? You'd think everyone and their mother would want that fixed.

How? The poorest of the poor aren't in any position to get it fixed because they lack the money and influence necessary. The middle class and above don't really see it as a threat to their existence and wouldn't support higher taxes to provide for the poorer people. The executives being paid millions have better things to care about.

Which wealth gap are you referring to? The difference between the middle class American and those making millions? That's really a non-issue - if someone is already well off enough, they could care less that someone else is making millions more. They're already comfortable, so why bother with anything?

Are you referring to the poverty vs. middle class gap? That gap is a complex problem for which there is no simple solution. Why are those people in poverty? What are the root causes? Are they in need of assistance? Are they educated? Why hasn't their education helped? Why can't they learn new skills on their own? But most importantly - are we going to have to raise taxes on everyone else to help them?
