There is nothing fluky about how Geno Smith and Russell Wilson have started the 2022 NFL season

And that would be fine... He's cheap and we have low expectations.

He could regress significantly and still be playing better than Russell though.

I'm not gonna wait and see though. I saw enough talent last year to say the starting job was his to lose over the off season.

I've seen an efficient qb who is running Waldron's system as it should be run. Defenses need to adjust to Waldron, not Geno. It's going to be up to Waldron to keep up and for Geno to continue to execute like he has.

If Geno doesn't suddenly start looking like the current version of Russell I would love for Schneider to lock him up on a reasonable deal while they let another qb sit and develop behind him.
