Theresa May declares 'austerity is over' after eight years of cuts and tax increases

but you cant find one that you would like to?

Well yes. That's obviously the problem. I thought I already said I could afford outside of London.

I'm not asking for sympathy here, I am just stating that I can't afford a house. I'm not going to be buying some 1 bedroom shithole in Stockwell and I'm not going to live 1.5 hours away from work. The latter is just unreasonable to ask of anyone, and the former is also. Nobody should have to live in the awful old housing stock London has.

If you want to tell me you don't give a shit, have no sympathy, or whatever the standard response is around here go ahead. This sub is pretty hostile to anyone who actually wants to live a decent life or isn't living month to month.
