I went -15 UPT in May because I went to EDC and had no time to cover my absence. About two weeks went by, and HR finally called me up into their office and they asked what was going on. I gave them some BS story that I’ve been dealing w/ personal shit at home and that my family has been “threatening” to kick me out so it’s been a real tough time on my mental health. HR bought my story and they reset me back to 0 UPT and basically gave me a verbal warning.

Don’t believe the people that say you get fired for negative UPT. If it’s excessive repetitiveness of going negative or you’re stealing time from the company, then yeah they’ll fire you.
