I suffer from severe depression, type 2 manic depression. I have never regardless manic, mixed, depressed, gleefully told people to fuck off. Most people with my form of depression usually ultimately kill themselves (about 60%). Why if I'm miserable would I ever want to project that onto other people, pain only prompts more pain. I think all good people even if they haven't got the energy for kindness at least have the capacity to respect personal liberty. It takes no effort to leave someone the fuck alone and by doing so you're respecting their rights.

My mental state is mine to manage. If I can keep myself rational and grounded there's hope for others.

Some people are not as lucky as me to have manageable illness, it's a shame hospitals for the mentally ill were closed rather than reformed.
