Things to know for installing an Ethernet port(s) in a room?

The CCA is referring to the conductor core of each wire inside the cable. Basically the actual electrical conductor inside the cable is aluminium coated in copper. Your better option would be solid copper all the way through. Both kinds can be either stranded or solid core (single wire vs a bunch of tiny ones stranded together) although in-wall you're gonna want something solid.

I'm gonna be completely honest with you as well... I could train a guy to wire up a house w/ ethernet phone & cable in less than a day and as long as he has some prior construction skill I could send him out to do pre-wires on his own. It's not worth paying someone else for that. I charged 2hr min @ $190 w/ every addtl hr at $85
