Creating LAN subnet with AT&T Fiber Router (BGW210-700)

Yeah I probably should just forget it, but this particular router gets enough public use that having all that traffic and data and the tables relegated to an IP subnet range completely removed from non-guest use was nice when I needed to filter it or search or just check on it.

Is it possible that the older Uverse routers had some kind of internal virtual router and it was opaquely creating a bridge or pass-through setup and this newer fiber router doesn't do that? I assume I could always put a second router on the network and set it up as a cascaded deal, but it makes no sense to me that they'd actually remove features from newer models when they were standard in older revisions.
