TP-Link CPE210 regularly drops connection

I have a ton of CPE210s and love them. I recommend them all the time.

Do you have it set as lock AP?

I’m wondering if it sees another AP and as you start transmitting data the SnR goes down and it tries to connect to another AP. Locking to that AP would be a solution.

The other thought is the campus WiFi is actually disconnecting from you. This is common in bandsteering where it is trying to push you onto the 5ghz frequency. In that case I’m not sure what the solution would be.

Because the other commenter said has us the same issue I’m included to think it could be a bandsteering issue.

Connect that as well. Then get a usb Ethernet adapter so both connect to the same computer. Then get speedify to bond the connections together. You’ll get higher speeds and redundancy.
