That’s true. I guess being pushy doesn’t really do much. Well when I was around her age, I went through very traumatic events and I developed PTSD. I made very bad choices as a result for the next 5 or so years and my life became a shit show. I think my situation is different from hers. As far as I know, she hasn’t experienced any trauma like I did.

I liked sharing these facts with her because when I was her age, my parents just told me, “don’t have sex until marriage because God says so.” And that was it. There was no further explanation as to why premarital sex is wrong. That’s why I love Catholicism, you can actually draw from natural law to show why sex should be only be practiced in marriage!
