You mentioned you are Asian, yes? So I believe you are aware of xenophobia against Asians especially about our looks. I believe you would also know that Asian families in general are very conservative e.g. being against LGBTQIA+ people.

My point is that it is quite a common occurence for many Asian LGBTIA+ people to feel left out or even insecure about themselves. Although I cannot speak for the OP and the actual intent of this post, posts like these reflect that.
