You're helping "capitalists" more by focusing on minimum wage so much. All companies need to do is increase prices and it doesn't affect them at all while we will still struggle to afford to live. And prices rapidly increasing is psychologically harmful as well, having a sense of doom/terror every time you have to shop not knowing when the price increases will slow down or worrying your rent will be raised a lot and you won't be able to afford it. Those issues are not solved by raising the minimum wage.

We should be putting pressure on government to tackle price gouging by companies and landlords (and expanding assistance like SNAP and Medicaid). At least try to stabilize the cost of living. Although deflation can be bad too, I'd rather have some of that right now (prices and cost of living going down some) than constant minimum wage increases that are negated by even higher price and cost of living increases, where the companies and the rich people behind them get richer anyway.
