My takeaway from it- whoever it is seems upset that the details released by K father weren’t exactly correct according to his information and he was here to set the story straight. As he then explains they weren’t IN bed together when they fell asleep but ended up that way due to K trying to escape. Also explaining her wounds being more significant because they were delivered forcibly as she was trying to flee. Vs “ cleanly and quietly”. Definitely an unsettling feeling after listening to this.

I also think it’s interesting that he had what he’s going to say written out to read from. Either to stay on track, make sure he doesn’t slip up, or be sure to say things to not seem suspect. Such as his back story as to how he’s obtained this information and that it’s second hand, rumor. Interesting for sure.
