Former Pope Benedict XVI dies at 95

Honestly, I don't feel the need to celebrate. The simple truth is sufficient to condemn him, that he was a monster who dedicated his life to a monstrous institution, and that his passing leaves the world a better place. It would be a better place still if he had been made accountable for his crimes while there was still opportunity. Alas, too late now. The fight against the organisation that nurtured him, and so many others like him, goes on.

After today though (probably after I post this comment, to be fair) I don't need to think about him or his 'legacy' at all. He's gone, he's nothing. So no, I won't celebrate, but no way in hell will anyone make me mourn either.
