• Dilin Nair (born 16 November 1988 in Chandigarh, Punjab, India), better known by his stage name Raftaar.

• He has also started singing, rapping, writing lyrics and producing music for Bollywood.

• He began his career with Lil Golu and Young Amli ( now known as Ikka), recording songs and uploading them on social sites.

• He was supported by his friend Ankit Khanna, who introduced him to the Punjabi music band RDB, who then signed him onto their label, Three Records.

• The line "Ab yeh karke dikhao" from his song "Swag Mera Desi", which was already used in Yo Yo Honey Singh's song named "Party With The Bhoothnath", became a centre of controversy between the two rappers.
